Controlled Rejection

Rejecting particles without losing control of the stream.

Controlled Rejection trace animation

What is happening?

This trace shows particles being prevented from progressing freely and instead being driven into a controlled region. The important point is not simple blocking, but ordered rejection: the stream remains spatially managed rather than dispersing unpredictably.

Where this may be used

Particle instruments: Rejecting unwanted particles before they reach a detector or sensitive region.
Plasma processing: Managing charged-particle exposure in controlled manufacturing environments.
Space systems: Charged-particle shielding, filtering or redirection concepts for payload protection and propulsion research.
